Definition:

The VDOT Richmond TOC is a nerve center of an integrated system of advanced technologies including computer software, traffic cameras, ramp meters. From the Richmond TOC, VDOT shares traffic information with traffic management systems in Northern Virginia.The VDOT Central Regional Operations area includes the VDOT Richmond and Fredericksburg (except for the northern Counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania and King George) Districts.
